Climbing Through

When there always seems to be a tornado of obligation surrounding us, how do we commit to the moment and connect to the magic of now?

Motherhood, guiding, her own counseling practice—professional climber Julia Niles has danced between responsibilities for years. Lured by her friend, pro athlete Em Pellerin, to go climb the big walls of Cochamó Valley, Chile, Julia relearns what it means to thrive. High off the deck, tied together, every action becomes a powerful reminder to slow down and embrace the present. And the experience becomes the fuel for what’s to come.

How Are Clinics Going to Work?

Upon registering for a clinic, you'll receive a confirmation email securing your spot. Please take note of the clinic check-in time, required equipment, and any other important details. Rest assured, if there are any changes regarding your clinic, we'll contact you directly.

What should I bring?

Refer to your confirmation email for the clinic equipment list.

Free onsite rentals are available; please email climbingacademy@arcteryx.com with your rental needs to ensure availability. Weather and conditions may vary, so it's advisable to come prepared, even if you might not use everything.

What Are The Start And Finish Time Of The Clinics?

Clinic check-in begins at 8:00 AM, with all sessions expected to conclude between 3:00 and 4:00 PM, based on the energy levels of the group.

Will Food and Drink Be Provided?

We do not organize food and drinks for the clinics, so please make sure you bring whatever you need along for the day to ensure you're properly fueled. Please show up to clinic check-in having had breakfast and with your lunch packed so you don't hold up your group.

Should I Have My Own Means Of Transportation?

Please make sure you have transportation to our clinic check-in. From there, we encourage organizing carpooling groups from the check-in location to the trailhead to avoid overcrowding crag parking.

What Happens If The Weather Is Bad?

Bad weather and rain is all part of the fun, sometimes. Please come prepared for all types of weather with appropriate rain gear and layers. If the weather is very bad and clinics are unable to safely run, alternate arrangements will be made.
